I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in Mount Vernon, Kentucky. I was born and raised in Mount Vernon and I reside here now with my family. I am married to my high school sweetheart and we have 5 children. I love my community and I have a desire to give back. As a wife and mother family is very important to me and I want to help other people have healthy, happy families. I help people heal and lead healthy lives. I work with kids, teens, adults, couples and families. I specialize in trauma, attachment disorders, adjustment disorders, and behavior modification. I assist individuals in a variety of ways through therapy, consulting, and coaching.

Kids (ages 3-12): I help kids learn to process their feelings and express their emotions in healthy ways. I help kids make difficult transitions and heal from trauma. I help kids regulate behavior, build social skills and make connections.

Teens (ages 13-18): I help teens develop appropriate social skills and form healthy relationships. I help teens build positive self esteem and confidence. I help teens process and heal from trauma. I help teens decrease anger and learn conflict resolution and effective communication skills.
Adults.
Adults: I help adults manage stress and develop coping skills. I help adults build healthy relationships. I help adults heal from trauma. I help adults transition through various stages of life. I help adults set goals and meet them. I help adults navigate crisis. I help adults process grief.
Couples.
Couples: I help couples decrease conflict and build intimacy. I help couples rebuild trust and heal from betrayal. I help couples reconnect. I help couples learn to communicate effectively.
Family Therapy.
Families: I help families learn to decrease conflict and communicate effectively. I help families reconnect. I help families create structure and routines. I help families set reasonable expectations, consequences and rewards.

Using different types of therapy techniques, I will work with my clients to help them achieve a life full of intention and joy. My approach to therapy is that each person can be made whole with the right tools and directions. I treat many common issues such as anxiety, depression, life changes, educational difficulty, and trauma.
